Want to keep your notes and reminders on Google? Try Google Keep.

Just follow this link: keep.google.com

If you want, you can add the Chrome extension. There will be a note on your page that provides the link. That was you can get notifications from your reminders. I've attached two pictures: one shows the initial screen which includes the blue note telling you about the extension. The next show what your screen will look like after adding a note or reminder.
